The Memory Disorders Clinic offers coordinated diagnostic services for older adults in an outpatient setting involving family physicians, a neuro-psychologist and a psychiatrist specializing in geriatric psychiatry for the evaluation and management of dementia-related disorders. Services include screenings, comprehensive evaluations, treatment recommendations and support in collaboration with community resources.

Geriatric Behavioral Services can provide an evaluation of urgent psychiatric needs for residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities in the client's own environment. The assessment staff works in collaboration with a psychiatrist who provides recommendations. Outreach services may be accessed by calling (419) 226-9067. In the event hospitalization is required, a direct admission can be facilitated. |
