Computers impact almost every aspect of our lives today. With the invention
of the internet, information on almost anything is just a mouse click away,
our children are learning how to read on the computer, even the checkout
at the grocery store is a computer. To assist employees in keeping up with
the technology age, St. Rita's offers full-time and part-time employees who
have completed three years of service the opportunity to purchase a computer
via payroll deduction.
The computer must be purchased at a designated location and the total cannot
exceed a specified amount for full coverage. St. Rita's payroll department
will then set up deduction amounts to come out of every bi-weekly check. There
is no interest added to the price of the computer. Essentially, St. Rita's
is offering an interest free loan to purchase the computer. Deductions can
be set up to pay for the computer in one year or two.
