St. Rita's Women's Surgical Unit is dedicated to meeting the special needs of
women after surgical procedures. The staff of the 19-bed Women's Surgical Unit
are committed to meeting the needs of women during the post-operative period
who may be recovering from surgeries such as, but not limited to:
- Hysterectomy
- Bladder Repair
- Colon Resection
- Appendectomy
- Mastectomy
- Reconstructive Surgery or Breast Reduction
Care managers monitor patients during their hospitalization and address any
special needs in preparing a patient for discharge.
