We believe
that by partnering with the mother and her physician, we are helping to
deliver a healthy baby. When we can do that, the health of the community
is enhanced.
At St. Rita's Medical Center , we are proud to offer guidance and support
to expectant families through our OB Care Managers. To help accomplish
that goal, St. Rita's OB Care Managers are located in local obstetrician's
offices to meet personally with expecting mothers during prenatal appointments
or by appointment. Mothers get to know our OB Care Managers on a first
name basis—developing a trusting relationship and using the care managers
as a source of information.
Answering questions, supporting and guiding families in their birth choices
are some of the important roles of our OB Care Managers. Our OB Care Managers
also teach a variety of childbirth classes to meet the educational needs
of everyone in your family. Our care doesn't end at delivery. OB Care
Managers are available to provide a home visit for mother or baby if needed.
