The Allison Radiation Oncology Center, part of St. Rita’s Regional Cancer Services, provides radiation therapy to cancer patients. More than half of all cancer patients require treatment utilizing radiation therapy. Those treatments may include the use of advanced technology including:
- Linear Accelerator Treatments
- Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
- Brachytherapy
In addition to cutting-edge technology, our highly trained physicians, nurses and technicians deliver compassionate care with programs and services that address the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and their family.
St. Rita’s Radiation Oncology Program has a three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR). The national accreditation means the program has undergone a rigorous review process and meets or exceeds nationally accepted standards of care. St. Rita’s is one of just six hospitals in Ohio and 134 in the country earning this distinction. |
