Through a unique relationship, St. Rita's and the Wapak YMCA have brought physical rehabilitation services to you in Wapakoneta and the surrounding communities. Now you can receive high quality rehabilitation services provided by licensed professionals at a convenient location, including:

Aquatic Therapy

All physical and cardiac rehabilitation services offered through St. Rita's at the Wapak YMCA are available with a physician's referral. (Massage therapy services do not require a physician order.)

Your physician may send you to rehabilitation for the following types of problems:

After an evaluation, you will set goals with your therapist to maximize your function and independence. Modern facilities, including cardiovascular machines, weight lifting equipment, and a swimming pool are available for your rehabilitation program.

St. Rita's cardiac rehabilitation program is also designed to help you maintain or improve your quality of life. This program, accredited by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), includes:

Blood Pressure Check
  • Individualized Physical Activity
  • Periodic Heart Rhythm
  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Registered Nurses Monitoring Patient Exercise

St. Rita's at the Wapak YMCA has flexible hours so rehabilitation services can be arranged to work with your busy home and work schedules. It is also conveniently located within the Wapak YMCA on Defiance Street, near the Wapakoneta High School.
