Individuals must be interviewed and assessed by St. Rita's qualified professionals to determine if treatment on an outpatient basis is appropriate. A telephone interview will be conducted with the client and an assessment appointment will be scheduled for a counselor to meet with the individual and make a recommendation for treatment.
The partial hospitalization program provides intensive short-term treatment in a less restrictive environment than offered by an inpatient setting. This setting allows clients to maintain familiar bonds with their own environments while working on issues associated with wellness. The program focuses on controlling behavioral problems, managing symptoms and preventing future mental health relapses. The program's primary schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
An intensive dual diagnosis program is also available for those suffering from both chemical dependency and mental health problems. The program focuses on managing the patient's symptoms to prevent relapses to their addiction and mental health illness.
