At St. Rita's, we understand that emergency situations can create times of
uncertainty—times when a little extra attention can help ease the distress.
That's why St. Rita's has Emergency Department (ED) Patient Support Representatives.
These ED team members have special training in helping patients and supporting
loved ones during emergency department visits. They act as a liaison between
you and the ED team, relaying information, helping with telephone calls, offering
snacks and beverages and anticipating your needs. Helping make the
emergency department visit more personal—that's the goal of St. Rita's emergency
department team.
