Minor illnesses and injuries are a part of life and these conditions sometimes
happen after your family physician's office is closed or on the weekends—that's
why St. Rita's offers Express Care.
Express Care is available for patients of all ages to treat minor medical
conditions and injuries such as sprains or sore throats. All Express Care patients
are assessed by a qualified RN to determine if their condition is appropriate
for Express Care. If necessary, Express Care patients can be transferred to
Acute Care if the patient is found to have a more serious condition.
St. Rita's Express Care is staffed by experienced board certified physicians
and specially trained RNs and has the full support of all ancillary services.
Express Care is available from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., seven days a week. At
other times, patients are seen in our main Emergency Department.
