to support those who choose to begin a family while employed at St. Rita's
as well as employees whose family continues to grow. To help support new families,
St. Rita's offers OB Care Managers. These registered nurses are specially trained
in the needs of expectant mothers. Found each day in the offices of local obstetricians,
the care managers are there as a source of information to answer questions,
sign new mothers and fathers up for educational classes and assist expecting
mothers complete their hospital pre-admission paperwork.
The care managers also teach a wide variety of classes monthly. Prepared childbirth,
breastfeeding, infant care and more are available in addition to classes just
for brothers and sisters already at home.
The care managers are also there for individual consultation. What to expect
during pregnancy, delivery and after baby has arrived, the OB care managers
have all the information and resources employees may need and are just a phone call away.
