Voice of Experience is a new support group introduced in early 2003. It is designed
to match a recently diagnosed cancer patient, or their caregiver, with a
cancer survivor or caregiver. The program attempts to match persons with
similar circumstances, such as the type of disease, treatment or care giving
situation. Once the match is made, participants can phone each other for
support, encouragement and, above all, share hope. |
