Everyday, St.
Rita’s Medical Center offers free or low cost health screenings to help
people detect a wide range of health conditions early. It is our hope that
if we can identify a potential health concern quickly, we can link people
to the proper medical resources. Screenings provide us an opportunity to
educate residents on the importance of managing a particular health condition
and the positive impact it could have on their overall quality of life.
Through
The Healthy Lifestyles Center in the Lima Mall, at community health
fairs and festivals and at each of our medical campuses in Lima, Delphos,
Glandorf and Wapakoneta, St. Rita’s offers a wide variety of physical
and behavioral health screenings including:
- Depression
- Breast,
Prostrate and Skin Cancer
- Hearing
- Osteoporosis
- Stroke
- Cholesterol
- Diabetes
- Peripheral
Vascular Disease (PVD)
- High Blood
Pressure
- Asthma
- Vision

What
are health screenings?
Health screenings are simple tests that help detect health problems
early. Usually, additional tests are required for diagnosis of a disease
or disorder. Health screenings help people be proactive in their health
and help create awareness about disease prevention and health promotion. |
